Digital Self Defense 102

So, DSD 101 has shown you a glimpse of the terrors that await you in the depths of the Internet... and you know you need to protect yourself. What should you do now? Check out DSD 102!

In DSD 102, you'll be given the opportunity to try out some of the security tools you need to protect yourself and others online. Try out setting up a firewall, downloading software patches, scanning for viruses and removing spyware in a safe environment with help from the Information Security Office.

Protecting yourself online is easier than you think!

If you can't come to the class in person, or just want to try the simulations out again, go to the Simulations section. The same simulations used in class are available, and can be opened straight from your web browser!
